The Mercedes-Benz EQ A concept will be a part of the EQ sub-brand and help the automaker achieve plans to launch 10 new EVs by the year 2025. Although Mercedes-Benz has yet to tease the new electric hatchback concept or release concrete details about it, we know it will pull some styling cues from the Mercedes-Benz Generation EQ SUV concept that was revealed in 2016. Its futuristic design is sure to turn heads, while next-level technology and high-grade performance make for a truly unique experience behind the wheel.

The Mercedes-Benz Generation EQ SUV concept model is equipped with a 300-kW electric motor that is able to go 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds and offers a 300-mile driving range per charge. It also comes with a 24-inch TFT high-def display screen and adaptive ambience lighting as well as Car-to-X technology and Intelligent Driver Assistance.
What to Expect from the Mercedes-Benz EQ A Concept
This Mercedes-Benz EQ concept will be included in the entry-level EV segment, along with models like the BMW i3 and upcoming Volkswagen ID. It is expected to be powered by a single electric motor, although it could potentially be available with a rear electric motor for all-wheel drive capabilities sometime in the future. As one of the first EVs to be developed by Mercedes-Benz, the EQ A concept is projected to be launched in 2020 and gain great popularity among eco-conscious luxury car shoppers.
