Major News: 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e Plug-In Hybrid Has a 54-Mile Range
Check out the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e…

Earlier this year Mercedes-Benz announced that the GLC SUV, which received a major overhaul for the 2023 model year, would be joined by a new plug-in-hybrid variant for 2025 called the GLC 350e. Now Mercedes has announced pricing and range details for the new GLC plug-in hybrid, which will be able to run exclusively on electric power for up to 54 miles. Pricing on this SUV will start at $61,050.
What’s Going On Under The Hood?

Under the GLC 350e’s hood lies a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder producing 201 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a 134-hp, 325-pound-foot electric motor for a total output of 313 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. Mercedes estimates a zero-to-60-mph run of 6.2 seconds and combined fuel economy of 60 MPGe in the city and 70 MPGe on the highway. The hybrid system draws power from a 24.8-kWh battery, which offers 54 miles of all-electric range according to the EPA’s estimate. The battery is capable of charging at up to 60 kW on a DC fast-charger, which Mercedes says will allow it to reach a full charge in as quick as 30 minutes.
Let’s Talk Exterior

Like the pure-gas GLC SUVs, the plug-in hybrid is offered in three trims: Standard, Exclusive, and Pinnacle. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, as are a self-leveling suspension and a keyless start system. Among the six wheel choices are two new styles that are exclusive to the GLC 350e, and the PHEV SUV is also offered with an AMG® Line package and a Night package for the most design-conscious customers.
Upgrading to the Exclusive trim sees the price rise to $62,700 but adds goodies including a Burmester 3D surround-sound system, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and illuminated doorsills. At the top of the range is the $64,650 Pinnacle trim, with extras such as a head-up display and heat and noise-insulating glass.
