Service A vs. Service B Intervals: What’s Different?
When you look closely at Mercedes-Benz Service A and Mercedes-Benz Service B, one of the main differences you’ll notice is the time intervals. As mentioned, Service A is suggested after 1 year or 10,000 miles, while Service B takes place after 2 years or 20,000 miles. With both Service A and B, the actual maintenance tasks that are performed are largely the same. Some exceptions remain for Service B, however, as your vehicle will also receive a brake fluid replacement and a cabin air filter replacement. There are also CLA and GLA AMG® models that will require an engine air filter replacement during Service B.
