Dual Permanently Synchronous Electric Motors (484kW Total)

The dual electric motors are capable of producing up to 649 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. The front and rear "permanently excited synchronous motors" (PSMs) use permanent magnets to generate AC with high power density and efficiency. Enhanced windings, actuators, and programming further enhance responsiveness, so you can always have control whenever you drive around New Haven. 

Intelligent Energy Recovery With Paddles

Paddles on the steering wheel let you change the intensity of energy recuperated by deceleration and braking as you drive. You can choose from three levels of recuperation: Normal, Increased, and None. A "D Auto" activates the intelligent ECO Assist feature.

ECO Assist Feature

ECO Assist processes data from the driving assistance and navigation systems to maximize overall efficiency and energy recuperation when you brake or coast. ECO Assist uses GPS and map data, topography, traffic, and the detection of nearby vehicles via radar and the stereo camera to optimize energy recovery in any situation. ECO Assist also allows pure one-pedal driving when you need it!

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV has a fully functional glass sunroof that features a front panel that can either tilt up for ventilation or slide over the rear panel to let more air inside the cabin. You can adjust the amount of sunlight entering the cabin with dual interior power shades. This feature can give you up to 50% more of a viewing area, allowing you and your passengers to take in all of the sights as you drive around Cheshire. 

Power Rear Seats With Memory

The rear seats have power cushion angle adjustment, and the seatbacks can recline as well. Additionally, each seat includes a memory system and a power calf rest. The right seat adds rear-cabin controls for the right-front seat, whose "chauffeur position" can move the unoccupied front seat forward and tilt its seatback to provide more leg room for the rear passenger.

Multicontour Rear Seats With Massage

The multicontour rear seats feature adjustable lumbar supports, side bolsters, and shoulder supports to give you and your passengers customized support on every drive. There’s also a range of massage programs that can soothe the lower back, including a "hot stone" treatment that combines heat and massage. You can even use a calf massage feature for your lower legs.

MBUX Augmented Video for Navigation

This feature can make it easier to make turns and find your exact destination as you drive around Branford. This system uses live imagery from a forward-facing camera on the central display to superimpose useful information such as street names, house numbers, and guiding arrows on a real-time view. This gives you a high-definition overview of your surroundings, so you don’t miss a thing. 

ATTENTION ASSIST®

ATTENTION ASSIST® continuously monitors up to 70 parameters of driving behavior, and it automatically alerts you with visual and audible warnings if it detects signs of drowsiness as you drive. This safety feature also helps detect drivers who begin their trip drowsy and offers more useful information to drivers along their journey through your dashboard display. 

GUARD 360°® Security System

GUARD 360°® detects if your parked vehicle experiences certain impact types that could cause damage. The Surround View cameras can photograph the area around your car, taking multiple time-stamped images that can be viewed on your multimedia display or on the Mercedes me connect app on your phone. It can also push a damage notification through the app and display a message the next time you start the car.

Polished chrome accents the door pillars and bladelike lower side trim. Exclusive 21-inch or 22-inch wheel choices complement paint options that include a range of two-tone motifs.

Aero Illuminated Running Boards

The running boards on the Maybach EQS SUV feature integrated illumination, so you can see your step as you get into or out of the cabin. Grippy rubber treads are divided by Maybach "double M" emblems to give you more stability as you climb inside and get comfortable.

Side Logo Projectors

When you lock or unlock your car, special filters and LED lamps project the iconic Mercedes-Maybach logo on the pavement alongside the power-activated running boards. The illuminated logos also help you see puddles or uneven pavement as you approach your vehicle.
