Hybrid Integrated Starter-Generator

With this unique feature, you get the combined power of an I-4 gas engine and a 48-volt lithium-ion battery. Together, these components power the water pump, lower the weight, and enhance the underhood packaging. The electric assistance gives you an additional gas-free 23 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque.

4MATIC® Fully Variable All-Wheel Drive

This version of 4MATIC® can send 0-100% of the engine’s torque to any front or rear axle at any time. The torque distribution is varied via a transfer case with a multi-disc clutch that monitors driving conditions in real time. This allows for a precise response for appropriate conditions and enhances handling in any condition by changing the rotation of the vehicle.

DYNAMIC SELECT

Choose from four preset drive modes: ECO, Comfort, Sport, and Off-Road. You also get to choose from an Individual mode that you can configure a la carte. Each mode adapts the throttle response, shift programming, ESP, and more. You can easily select any of these drive modes with the dial in the vehicle’s performance character.
