ECO Assist Feature

ECO Assist processes data from the driving assistance and navigation systems to help you maximize your efficiency and energy from braking or coasting as you drive around New Haven. This feature utilizes GPS and map data, topography, traffic, and the detection of nearby vehicles with a radar and a stereo camera so that it can optimize energy recovery in any situation. It also allows pure one-pedal driving in some conditions.

Intelligent Energy Recovery With Paddles

Paddles on the steering wheel allow you to vary the intensity of energy recuperated by deceleration and braking as you drive. There are three levels of recuperation you can choose from: Normal, Increased (which can allow one-pedal driving), and None (effectively coasting when you let off the driving pedal). A “D Auto” setting activates the intelligent ECO Assist feature while maintaining a natural pedal feel.

DYNAMIC SELECT

Through a multimode drive program selector on the console, you can transform the EQS SUV model’s character with the flip of a switch. Three modes, ECO, Comfort, and Sport, alter the drivetrain response, steering effort, and AIRMATIC® suspension. Additionally, there’s a fourth “Individual” mode that allows you to create a mode of your own.

Multicontour Front Seats With Massage

Multicontour front seats each feature adjustable lumbar supports, side bolsters, and shoulder supports, which aim to provide customized support and comfort during every drive. There are ten massage programs that can help soothe and rejuvenate the lower back and shoulders. Some modes include combining massage and heat for a “hot stone” effect that’ll make you feel like you’re in a spa.

64-Color LED Ambient Lighting

Edge-lighting glows along the dash, door trim, and the outline of each front seatback, and you can choose from 64 selectable colors. “Hey, Mercedes” Keyword Activation

When you say “Hey, Mercedes” and then tell MBUX what you’d like in everyday language, it’ll respond accordingly. It can plan your route to stores and restaurants you like or tell you where the nearest gas station is. Enhancements include support for up to nine languages and a built-in help feature.

MBUX Augmented Video for Navigation

Mercedes-Benz Navigation can help make it easier to make turns and find your exact destination upon arrival. Using live imagery from a forward-facing camera on the central display, the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) can superimpose useful information, such as street names, house numbers, and guiding arrows on a real-time view of the approaching environment.
