HECO Assist Feature

ECO Assist processes data from the driving assistance and navigation systems to maximize overall efficiency and energy recuperation from braking or coasting. Using GPS and map data, topography, traffic, and the detection of nearby vehicles via radar and the stereo camera, ECO Assist optimizes energy recovery to any situation in real time, and it also allows pure one-pedal driving in some conditions. All of this increases control and stability whenever you drive around Cheshire.

DYNAMIC SELECT

A multimode drive program selector on the console allows you to transform the car's character with the flip of a switch. Three drive modes, ECO, Comfort, and Sport, alter the drivetrain response, steering effort, and AIRMATIC® suspension. There’s also a fourth "Individual" mode that allows you to create a mode of your own.

Intelligent Energy Recovery With Paddles

Paddles on the steering wheel let you vary the intensity of energy recuperated by deceleration and braking during everyday driving. There are three levels of recuperation: normal, increased, and none. “Increased” allows one-pedal driving, and “none” allows you to coast when you let off the driving pedal. A "D Auto" setting can activate the intelligent ECO Assist feature. The braking system offers a more natural pedal feel and more refined regeneration capabilities.

Multicontour Front Seats With Massage

With adjustable lumbar supports, side bolsters, and shoulder supports, you get custom-tailored support every time you take to the roads of Branford. 10 massage programs are available to help soothe and rejuvenate the lower back and shoulders. They also include detachable pillows for additional comfort.

Heated Power Front Seats With Memory

Intuitive, seat-shaped controls help you and your front passenger find your ideal seating positions with 12-way power adjustment, including cushion length. A memory system for each front seat recalls three stored seat positions, and the driver-seat memory also includes the power steering column and side mirror positions. Standard heating with automatic timed step-down adds soothing comfort for colder weather.

64-Color LED Ambient Lighting

A network of LED lights lets you create the perfect cabin ambiance to suit your mood. Edge lighting glows along the dash, door trim, and the outline of each front seatback. Along with 64 selectable colors and day/night brightness modes, numerous programs let you enjoy static or slowly changing multicolor motifs.

MBUX Hyperscreen

The Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) Hyperscreen combines a 12.3-inch LED instrument cluster and two Organic LED (OLED) touchscreens, measuring 17.7 inches and 12.3 inches, behind a single 56-inch span of high-strength, fingerprint and scratch-resistant aluminum-silicate glass. Some of the standout features include a dozen haptic actuators to provide tactile feedback for key controls, as well as an innovative "zero-layer" menu concept. Eye-tracking and light-sensing abilities enhance overall viewing.

Voice Control With Natural Language Understanding

Vehicle functions for a wide range of features respond to natural, conversational phrases. For example, if you say, "I'm cold," MBUX can adjust the climate control. It can even learn new phrases over time and respond with more flexible and friendly language as well.

Biometric Authentication

This one-of-a-kind feature allows you to personalize up to 800 vehicle settings, from music programming to seat comfort, and keep them in any of seven user profiles. Features can even be set up via the Mercedes me connect mobile app when you're away from the car. Your Mercedes me connect PIN identifies your profile, or you can use a built-in fingerprint reader below the central touchscreen. The system can also recognize your voice and your face, and profiles can be used in multiple cars.

The EQS Sedan is built on a platform dedicated to luxury-class electric vehicles. As a clean-sheet design not shared with any gasoline-powered model, its packaging, materials, aesthetics, and safety systems are optimized to support its advanced all-electric powertrain and to take advantage of the benefits electric power offers for quiet comfort, ample space, and innovative design.

Advanced Aerodynamics

The EQS Sedan is built with an emphasis on aerodynamics that impacts the entire industry, not just the luxury sedan segment. Streamlining, seam sealing and minimization, wheel design, tire spoilers ahead of each wheel, highly smooth underbody paneling, a standard rear lip spoiler, and self-lowering air suspension enhance quiet comfort, stable handling, driving range, and overall efficiency.

Luxury Line Styling

The futuristic EQS resembles the S-Class model in a distinctive new design. The front Black Panel evokes the classic Mercedes-Benz grille, crowned by a standup Star on the hood. AMG® front and rear bumpers give the sedan a more sporty look, and you can choose from multiple EQS wheels, including AMG® designs.
