Intelligent Energy Recovery With Paddles

Paddles on the steering wheel let you vary the intensity of energy recuperated by deceleration and braking during normal driving. Choose from three levels of driving: Normal, Increased, and None as you drive around Cheshire. The "D Auto" setting activates the intelligent ECO Assist feature.

ECO Assist Feature

ECO Assist processes data from the vehicle's driving assistance and navigation systems to help you maximize your efficiency and energy recuperation from braking or coasting. The system uses GPS and map data, topography, traffic, and the detection of nearby vehicles via radar and the stereo camera to optimize energy recovery for each situation. In some conditions, it even allows for pure one-pedal driving.

DYNAMIC SELECT

A multimode drive program selector on the console lets you transform the car's character with the flip of a switch. Choose from three modes, ECO, Comfort, and Sport, that alter the drivetrain response, steering effort, and available AIRMATIC® suspension. There’s also a fourth "Individual" mode that allows you to create a mode of your own.

Car-to-X Communication

Every new EQE SUV can automatically alert a central notification system of certain dangers, from detected wheelspin to hazard flashers and windshield wipers. The system then alerts other drivers with Car-to-X via in-dash displays or announcements, allowing precautions to be taken before reaching the hazard.

ATTENTION ASSIST®

ATTENTION ASSIST® continuously monitors up to 70 parameters of driving behavior and automatically alerts you with both visual and audible warnings if it detects signs of drowsiness as you drive. With enhanced sensitivity, it also helps detect drivers who begin their trip drowsy and offers more useful information to drivers along their journey with the use of a dashboard display.
