Hybrid Integrated Starter-Generator
The I-4 gas engine combines with a 48-volt lithium-ion battery to supply power to the water pump while also reducing weight and enhancing underhood packaging. The electric assistance generates additional gas-free power and torque (up to 23 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque).
NANOSLIDE Cylinder Wall Technology
Using a twin-wire arc spray, NANOSLIDE technology coats the bores with a durable layer that’s molded into a low-friction, mirror-like finish. Since they don’t have the weight of cylinder liners, the bores and pistons have even greater dimensional precision. This gives them stronger and more consistent power over a longer period of time while increasing their service life.
Torque Vectoring Brake
Torque Vectoring Brake technology gives you more control and precision as you drive. It turns through targeted rear-wheel braking. If the Electronic Stability Program (ESP®) detects any understeer while cornering, then the system applies the brake to the inside rear wheel, which shifts torque distribution to the outside wheel. This helps you pivot or vector in a way that’s better suited for the turn.
