1. ATTENTION ASSIST® keeps track of your typical driving habits by tracking 70 different parameters.
2. The system looks for steering overcorrections, while also monitoring road conditions and crosswind to ensure that your driving adjustments aren’t caused by external factors.
3. Once the system analyzes your results, it kicks into gear. If ATTENTION ASSIST® detects driver fatigue, you will see and hear an ATTENTION ASSIST® “Take a break” Mercedes-Benz warning.
4. If you ignore the alert and continue to drive inattentively, the ATTENTION ASSIST® “Take a break” Mercedes-Benz warning will sound again after 15 minutes and so forth until you take action – so get to the nearest coffee shop quickly!
